She was named conference Defensive Player of the Week multiple times. She became the second player in program history to eclipse the 2,000 digs mark and finished second all-time in career digs at Tulsa.
She was named Defensive Player of the Year three times in Wise County and was a first-team all-district player three times as well.īrooke became a four year letter winner at The University of Tulsa and was the starting libero for four years (2013-2016). At Northwest High School in Texas, Brooke became the school’s all-time career digs leader and holds the school record for service aces. She grew up in Haslet, Texas, and started playing volleyball when she was nine years old. She is an avid runner, training for half marathons, and is learning to play guitar. When she’s not coaching her club team, Coach Ridgway likes to cheer on the Cubs with her dog, Wrigley. She then left the classroom to pursue her passion earning a nursing degree in the Accelerated BSN program at OU-Tulsa and now works as a registered pediatric nurse. In addition to her passion for coaching, Annice taught Biology a pre-AP Biology at Jenks Freshman Academy from 2014-2019. She coached throughout her college years, graduating from the University of Tulsa in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Annice also played on club teams from 2004-2009, qualifying for nationals twice in 20.Īnnice started coaching high school and club in 2009 and has been coaching several years. She competed on the varsity team at Jenks High School where she was a 2-year letter-winner. Annice was a setter and defensive specialist who started playing competitive volleyball at age 13. Annice Ridgway is an experienced player and coach in the Tulsa area who knows what it takes to achieve excellence.
